Day 007 : At Work

Shane at work ahahaaa.... funny right? So hard to get the shot I wanted cuz he was already a little cranky around this time - sleepy attacked. My original plan was to have a solid color background - which I wanted white, but because of last minutes plan, we couldn't get it.

Thanks to Luf & Miko for being my specialist - Miko help on the preps and Luf assisted me in setting up the laptop and the lighting system.

Will do better next time.

He is going to be one exactly on Feb 01st - but we are doing his birthday earlier by one day cuz exactly on his birthday, his daddy is going to offshore. Went to his house for dinner and a photoshoot session. Will share the phone in 2-3 days - it will be posted either in my main blog or my gallery, wait and see.

This picture is meaningful to me, when Shane a little bit bigger, I will show this to him - let me see how he is bonding with his grandma - who has been always be there for him. Love you both very much!

Day 005 : Computer PSU

Today, we are going to share a story a little more to computer and it's life.
The above picture shown is what is inside a computer, like myself - I don't get to see this guys so often. I only get the chance to have a closer look when ever Luf is doing his computer maintenance.

His is previously an IT Engineer but since I dragged him into photography, he quit that line and more to photography and editing stuffs now. But still since this both are very much connected - he still do computer stuffs for our own personal benefits - simple stuffs like formatting, maintaining and some troubleshooting if needed. Thankfully he still got the touch for it. He is my best IT guys.

Owh back to what's bring us to this picture, Luf's pc has been making lots of funny and weird acts lately but Luf was just to occupied to attend to the crankiness of his pc but today - he had no choice but to spend time with his cranky PC cuz his pc refuse to let him go on with it. His PC went off suddenly and cannot be turned on anymore.

So he took his CPU out, do some cleaning, vacumn all the dust in there and took up the Power Supply Unit (PSU), that what's in the above picture, look at the dust! I guess because of the thick dust, the fan could not spin on it's regular speed therefore making the temperature high in there and causing the PC to shut down to avoid from burning. This is purely a non-IT guy making a statement I might be wrong though, so let's see what the expert say about this here.

Day 003 : Paperclips

Will continue with the story later *wink

Pheeeew! Sorry about the delay of writing the story about this orange paper clip.
Bought from Toy Shop, KK
4pcs for RM12.00
Not very hand nor useful compare to the traditional paperclip but it surely a cutey item.
Bought it so I can keep and beautify my office desk.

Paperclip supposingly by its original objective is to help us to fasten a stack (not really a stack, but a small stack) of paper together but in my case, particularly this one - will be purely as decorative item.

Day 002 : Orange

Picture powered by : iPhone3gs~v & picnik.com

Thankfully - day 002 is successfully over with. I remember blogging about my new color theme for 2010-2011 that is ORANGE... today - I am going to re-post here as promised that my 1 pic per day tell a story will be mumbling about ORANGE.

I am a PINK & GREY lover before this - huge fan of PINK I must admit - everything that comes in pink will be eye catching for me - luckily I don't fancy guy with PINK shirt *sigh*. But it seems that since few years ago the color has become a trend and everyone (not entirely everyone but mostly) started going crazy about it. So to say, almost every corner I go - pink there is! So, I always want to be different than other and naturally - I will change my pattern when I sense someone is shadowing me. Last year I started to switch slowly to Orange (mostly) and also Red (....like bloody red). But still pink is easily to be found around me still - the effect from many² years of PINK collection. Not easy to completely get rid of that color from my life, it has been my color for many² years - since I was really young, at the age of six! probably even since born - that will have to ask my mommy.

Guys, since we are talking about color - let's find out some fact about it.
Orange color occurs between red and yellow... for more read this info I copied from wikipedia:

The colour orange occurs between red and yellow in the visible spectrum at a wavelength of about 585–620 nm, and has a hue of 30° in HSV colour space. It is numerically halfway between red and yellow in a gamma-compressed RGB colour space, the expression of which is the RGB colour wheel. The complementary colour of orange is blue. Orange pigments are largely in the ochre or cadmium families, and absorb mostly blue light.

For our general knowledge enhancement, here I pick up some information about orange (not as color but as fruit) for our reading pleasure.

An orange—specifically, the sweet orange—is the citrus Citrus × sinensis (Citrus Sinensis (L.) Osbeck) and its fruit.[2] The orange is a hybrid of ancient cultivated origin, possibly between pomelo (Citrus maxima) and mandarin (Citrus reticulata).[3] It is an evergreen flowering tree generally growing to 9-10 m in height (although very old speciments have reached 15 m).[4] The leaves are arranged alternately, are ovate in shape with crenulate margins and are 4–10 cm long.[5] The orange fruit is a hesperidium, a type of berry.[6]
Orange trees are widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical climates for the delicious sweet fruit, which is peeled or cut (to avoid the bitter rind) and eaten whole, or processed to extract orange juice, and also for the fragrant peel.[7] In 2008, 68.5 million tons of oranges were grown worldwide, primarily in Brazil and the State of Florida in the US.[8]
Oranges probably originated in Southeast Asia[9] and were cultivated in China by 2500 BC. The fruit of Citrus sinensis is called sweet orange to distinguish it fromCitrus aurantium, the bitter orange. The name is thought to ultimately derive from the Sanskrit[10] for the orange tree, with its final form developing after passing through numerous intermediate languages.

It's great that I now having this blog - I get to pump up my engine every morning - thinking of what inspires me and blog about it.  For orange - this color is giving me similar strength as RED - bloody daring, energetic and powerful!

Day 001 : Shadow

As suggested that in this project I will get to post only one (01) picture daily, and along with the picture there must be a short article to be written regardless it is a sharing facts, personal opinion or just talk cock.

So today, as my first day - I was having hard time to make decision of which item I want to be my first subject in my picture. At last - I took this thing (honestly, I do not know what is it call) from head and put it on my desk to snap with my iPhone.

I would like to talk about shadow as shown in the picture itself: shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object. It occupies all of the space behind an opaque object with light in front of it. The cross section of a shadow is a two-dimensional silhouette, or reverse projection of the object blocking the light. The sun causes many objects to have shadows and at certain times of the day, when the sun is at certain hights, the length of shadows change. (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow).

In photography relatively, I always wanted to do one particular session to promote shadow photography but yet to have the opportunity - for that as well, I need to do some research and get the preps ready. Looks like after this I will be goggling for Shadow Photography.

Launching of my Project 3hundred65

At last! I am running my own project 3hundred65. I have been wanting to runt his project since 3 years ago when I started blogging at the same time but I was worried then if I could follow the rule - 1 picture everyday!

Today, out of no where - I just did it. I don't know where does the courage come from but I would just say - I'll go with the flow. We shall she how far this will go on.

Firstly, most of the picture will be contributed from either my iphone, my Nokia 5250 or E71. I hope to put more pictures from my D80, D300s or D700 but I just don't think it is possible to bring any of them with me everyday. I already have my handbag, and my bookbag on my daily case.
